Andhra Pradesh state-level recruitment board (SLPRB), conducted the first level of the preliminary exam for the post of sub-inspector on 19 February 2023. It was conducted across the state at different examination centres. The department will soon announce the AP Police SI result.

More than 1.5 Lakh aspirants appeared for the prelims held at various centres. The aspirants are enthusiastically waiting for the exam result, so they can thoroughly prepare for the next stage which is the physical test (PMT/PET). Candidates are required to bring their intimation letter when they report for PET/PMT.
Exam Synopsis
- The exam was conducted offline as an OMR-based test.
- The exam has 2 papers each of a duration of three hours.
- Each paper had 100 questions, the candidates need to clear both exams to qualify for the second stage.
- The scores of this exam will have no relevance in the final selection.
