Assam Department of Elementary Education for the Teachers’ Eligibility Test for Primary and Upper Primary Levels. There are 5320 vacancies of Assistant Teachers in Lower and Upper Primary Schools of Assam. There will be 3887 posts in the Lower Primary and 1433 posts in the Upper Primary.
Inviting online applications started on 5 March 2023 and ended on 25 March 2023. The Education Board will release the Assam TET Admit Card on 15 April 2023. The Assam TET exam will be held on 30 April 2023 in different centres under the guidelines of the Department of Elementary Education, Assam.

A huge number of Applicants applied for the vacancy and only those candidates will be considered for the exam who filled the application form till 25 March.

Pattern for Assam TET Exam
The pattern for the Assam TET exam is as follows:
- A total of 150 multiple-choice questions were asked related to 5 different subjects.
- Each question will carry 1 mark.
- No negative marking.
- The time given will be 2:30 hrs.
- The exam will be in Assamese, Bengali, Bodo, Hindi, and English language.

For Upper Primary, A candidate is required to score 60% i.e. 90 marks out of 150 to qualify for the Assam TET 2023. However, for SC/ST/OBC/PWD, there will be a relaxation of 5%.

- Click on teachers’ Eligibility Test from the Latest menu below on the webpage.
- Press enter a new page will appear.
- A link to download the TET Exam Admit Card will appear when the board updates the list.
- Enter username/application no, and enter a password.
- Press the login tab to download and print it for further assistance.
