Department of Education, Chandigarh Administration released a notification on 30 June for the recruitment of Junior Basic Teacher (JBT) and Primary Teacher (for class I-V) Posts. Chandigarh JBT Bharti: Eligibility Criteria
Aspirants must make sure that they must pass the required eligibility standards.
Graduation or its equivalent from the recognized university. and Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) for not less than 2 years from the institution recognized by NCTE. or a Bachelor Of Education (B.Ed) and must have passed Central Teacher Eligibility Test conducted by NCTE.
The age of the Applicant must be between 21 to 37 years as on 01 January 2023. Age relaxation for the reserved candidates will also be provided as per their rules.
The registration fee can be paid online only and it’s mandatory to be paid.
- For SC: ₹500/-
- For General and others: ₹1000/-
The selection procedure includes a Written Test and on the basis of this, the merit list will be prepared.
