NTA Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) 2023 Admit Card, Check Release Date, Exam Pattern Details @cmat.nta.nic.in
National Testing Agency issued a public notice on 13 February 2023 for Inviting Online Applications for Common Management Admission Test 2023. This is a national-level entrance examination for enrollment in the nation’s management programmes such as MBA & PGDM. This test makes it easier for participating institutions with AICTE affiliation to choose qualified graduates for admission to their management programmes.
The online application for CMAT 2023 was started accepting on 13 Feb 2023 and filled till 06 March 2023. Candidates were also given a chance to rectify their application form between 07 March 2023 to 09 March 2023. The exam is scheduled for 04 May 2023 and will be conducted at various exam centres.

For any queries or /clarifications, candidates can call NTA Help Desk at 011 40759000 or write to NTA at cmat@nta.ac.in. The details regarding the exam place and time to report will be mentioned on the Individuals AICTE CMAT Admit Card and will be released 10 days prior to the exam. The exam will be conducted in multiple shifts: Shift 1: 09:00 A.M. to 12 Noon, Shift 2: 02:30 P.M. to 05:30 P.M.
Instructions for the CMAT Examinees
- Candidates need to carry a printed copy of the CMAT Hall ticket along with it any of the Government IDs like- an Aadhar Card, Pan Card, or Voter Card for personal verification.
- CMAT 2023 Admit Card should be duly signed by Gazette Officer.
- No need to carry any stationery as the exam will be conducted online.
- Do Not carry any electronic or Bluetooth device in the exam hall.
- Carring any other piece of paper except as stated above is prohibited.
The admission of the candidate to a particular institution will be done on the basis of the CMAT score secured by him/her.
The exam for CMAT 2023 will be conducted in the pattern discussed below:
- The paper will be in English Only
- The time given to complete the exam will be three hours.
- The exam will be a Computer Based Online Test.
- Questions asked will be from multiple topics- Quantitative Techniques, Logical Reasoning, Language Comprehension, General Awareness, Innovation and Entrepreneurship.
- 4 Marks will be given for each correct answer.
- There is also a negative marking of 1 Mark for each wrong answer.
- The Total time given to complete the exam will be 3 hrs.
- Report to the exam centre an hour before the exam starts.
