Gujarat Public Service Commission (GPSC) released a notification on 14th July 2023 to hire eligible candidates for Various Posts. Through this, the GPSC will recruit candidates for a total of 221 vacancies. The various post in this recruitment (Advt. No. 27/2023-24 to 43/2023-24) are Deputy Session Officer, Legal Officer, Assistant Professor and Assistant Director Posts.
GPSC will start the Deputy Section Officer (DPSO) online registration process on 15th July 2023. Both male and female candidates can register online and this application process will continue till 31st July 2023. GPSC DYSO Recruitment- Eligibility Criteria
Aspirants willing to register online for these various posts need to check the eligibility details shared below:
- For Assistant Director: PhD or M.Phil. degree in Forensic Science (with Physical Sciences) or Forensic Nano-technology or Physics or Physical Chemistry obtained from any of the Universities established or incorporated by or under the Central or a State Act or A Post-Graduate degree with a second class in Forensic Science.
- For Deputy Section Officer / Deputy Mamlatdar: Bachelor’s degree
- For Legal Officer: Bachelor’s degree in Law/ L.L.B (special) three years courses/ a bachelor’s degree in Law (integrated) of five years course obtained from any of the Universities.
- For Assistant Professor: Candidate must have passed M.D., DNB and M.S. with 2 years experience in Emergency Medicine and four years of teaching experience as Assistant Professor and possess adequate knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi or both.
The age of the candidates should be above 21 years and must be lower than:
- For Assistant Professor it should be less than 42 years.
- For Deputy Section Officer the age must be less than 35 years.
- For Assistant Director it must be less than 41 years.
- The age of the candidates for all these posts will be calculated as on 31 July 2023.
- Relaxation in the upper age limit will be provided as per the state government rules.
