The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda, Vadodara released a public notice inviting online applications for the Gujarat State Eligibility Test (GSET). This test will be conducted for the selection of eligible candidates for the post of Assistant Professor.
The Online Registration process for the Gujarat SET will start on 21 August 2023. The last date to file the online application form along with the application fee is 16 September 2023. Applicants willing to register online must check the notification. The University Authorities all announced the Examination date and the exam is scheduled on 26 November 2023.
The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda conducts State Eligibility Test for the University and college teachers of Gujarat (GSET). Applicants who pass this test will be issued a Certificate and also placed as per the job requirement.

Gujarat SET Eligibility Criteria
Applicants interested to register online must check the details provided below and also ensure that they must pass these standards before applying.
Applicants must have passed their Master’s Degree or equivalent examination from a recognized university/institution with at least 55% marks (50% marks in the case of Socially and Educationally Backward Class (SEBC).
There is no upper age limit to apply for the GSET eligibility test for Assistant Professor
Applicants need to pay the non-refundable fee given below to register online and this will be paid by online payment method only.
- For General / General-EWS / SEBC (Non-creamy layer) Candidates: ₹900/- + Bank Charges
- For SC / ST / Third Gender Candidates: ₹700/- + Bank Charges
- For PWD(PH/VH) Candidates: ₹100/- + Bank Charges
