Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) will soon conduct the exam to recruit candidates for Junior Intelligence Officer (JIO), Grade-II (Technical) i.e., JIO-II/Tech in the Intelligence Bureau (IB) under General Central Service, Group-‘C’ (Non-Gazetted, Non-Ministerial posts. Through this recruitment drive, the organization will fill a total of 797 vacancies. The online application process ended on 23 June 2023. Now, the Department will soon conduct the exam and will select candidates based on their performance in the written test.
The MHA IB JIO exam date is not yet declared. But as and when the officials release any information regarding the conduct of the exam, we will add a notification on this page. Moreover, it is expected to be conducted in the month of August 2023.
Before the exam, the officials will release the IB JIO Admit Card on their official webpage @mha.gov.in All the information related exam will be mentioned on it link exam venue, reporting time, exam schedule etc. Every candidate needs to download it and have to take a printed copy with them to the examination centre.

For this recruitment drive the organization released a notification at the end of May 2023. The online application process started on 03 June 2023. Interested candidates applied online for these posts till 23 June 2023. Now the exam will be conducted soon to select the deserving candidates among many of those who applied online.

MHA IB JIO Exam Pattern
The JIO Recruitment Exam will be conducted in three tiers and are as:
- Tier-1 Online Exam
- Tier-2 Skill Test
- Tier-3 Interview
- There will be a total of 100 questions in the exam.
- Each question will be of 1 mark.
- Negative marking of 0.25 mark for each wrong answer.
- All questions will be multiple-type objective questions.
- The time duration will be 2 hours.

How to download the IB JIO Admit Card 2023?
The Department is not sending the admit card to any applicant by post. They need to perform the steps illustrated below to download their call letters:
- Visit the official webpage mha.gov.in
- Scroll down to the What’s New Section and search for the advertisement.
- Then click on the Admit Card download link.
- Fill in the required details asked.
- Submit and then click on download.
- Thus, MHA IB admit card is downloaded.
- Take a print of it and save it for further assistance.
