Institute of Banking Personnel Selection is going to conduct the online written examination for the recruitment of candidates for the Clerical Posts. By this, the IBPS will recruit candidates for more than 6000 vacancies in 11 Public Sector Banks in the country.
The online application process has just ended and now the scrutiny of application forms is ongoing. In the upcoming days, the Department is going to announce the written exam dates. Along with this, the Department will release the IBPS Clerk Admit Card. This will be made available only on the official page @ibps.in
Candidates going to appear for the examination need to take a printed copy of the IBPS Call Letter. They also need to carry any Government Id and some passport-size photographs to the examination hall. The exam for this advertised post is going to be conducted at various examination centres across the country.

Candidates can download their IBPS admit card by providing his/her details i.e. Registration Number and Password/Date of Birth etc. No hard copy of the call letter will be sent by post/courier to any applicant.
Intimation will also be sent by the department regarding the exam date, and the release date of admit card to the registered email address and mobile number of the candidates. IBPS Clerk 2023 Admit card will be made available on the official web portal 15 days prior to the exam date. The exam venue, reporting time and general instructions will be printed on it. Candidates need to check them thoroughly before appearing for the examination.
Admit Cards for the Online Preliminary Exam will not be collected at the examination venue. However, it will be duly stamped by the exam centre staff. Candidates will need to retain the hall ticket (along with a stamped copy of the ID proof) safely. Those candidates who are called for Main Exam will be required to bring this call letter along with the Main Exam call letter and other required documents as per the information provided in the hall ticket.
IBPS Clerk Exam Pattern
To recruit candidates for the Clerk Posts, IBPS will conduct two exams:
- Preliminary Exam
- Mains Exam
- The exam will be conducted online.
- There will be a total of 100 questions in the exam and each question will be of 1 mark.
- All questions will be in MCQ format.
- There is a penalty of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer.
- 20 minutes will be provided separately to complete each section.

- This exam will also be conducted online.
- Each question in this exam will be of 1 mark (except Section III) and there is a penalty of 0,25 marks for each wrong answer.

Aspirants going to appear for the exam and wants to download their hall ticket need to go through the steps given below:

- Then click on the Download Admit Card tab.
- Enter the required details asked.
- Click on the login tab.
- Thus, a hall ticket will be downloaded.
- Take a printout of it and save it for examination.
