Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) conducted a computer-based test on 31 July 2023 to hire eligible candidates for the post of Junior Assistant Cum Typists. This exam was conducted at various examination halls across the state. Through this test, the university authorities hire candidates to fill 200 vacant posts.

The JAT Recruitment Notification was released by IGNOU in March 2023. Interested and eligible candidates started filling out online application forms for this recruitment drive on 22 March. This online registration process ended on 20 April 2023.
The exam for this advertised post was conducted on 31 July and now in the upcoming days the results will be released and the shortlisted candidates will be offered jobs. It is expected that this result will be released in the month of September 2023.
