Directorate of Municipal Administration, Maharashtra released a notification on 11 July 2023 to invite candidates for the Maharashtra Nagar Parishad Rajyaseva Group C Posts. Under this recruitment drive the DMA will recruit candidates for the Group- C (A, B & C Category) Posts such as Civil Engineer, Electrical Engineer, Computer Engineer, Sewerage and Sanitation Engineer, Accountant/ Auditor, Tax Assessment and Administrative Officer, Sanitation Inspector in various departments Government of Maharashtra.
The DMA will fill a total of 1782 vacancies through this recruitment drive. Maha DMA Group- C Recruitment Eligibility Criteria
Candidates going to register online for these posts must check the eligibility standards discussed below before applying online.
For Civil Engineer, Electrical Engineer, Computer Engineer, Sewerage & Sanitation Engineer, Accountant/ Auditor:
- Candidate must be a Graduate in the field as per the post requirement
- MS-CIT or equivalent
- Knowledge of the Marathi Language
For Tax Assessment & Administrative Officer:
- Graduate Degree in any discipline
- MS-CIT or equivalent
- Knowledge of the Marathi Language
For Fire Officer:
- Graduate Degree in any discipline
- Passed Fire Station Officer and Instructor Course from Nagpur or Passed Sub-District Officer and Fire Prevention Officer Course
- MS-CIT or equivalent
- Knowledge of the Marathi Language
For Sanitation Inspector:
- Graduate Degree in any discipline
- Diploma in Sanitary Inspector
- Knowledge of the Marathi Language
The age of the applicant must be between 18 years to 38 years for the candidates belonging to Unreserved Categories. Whereas the age must be between 18 years to 43 years for the candidates belonging to Reserved Categories.
The candidates have to pay the prescribed fee given below for online registration and this has to be paid online.

The selection of the candidates will be done on the basis of a Computer-Based Test. This year the the DMA Officials will soon conduct the 2 exams to select the eligible candidates. The 2 exams will be Paper I will have a total of 60 questions & paper II will have 40 questions of 2 marks each in both exams. The exam will be thus for a total of 200 marks and the time given to solve the exam will be 2 hours.
