Maharashtra State Excise Department is going to conduct the written exam soon to select the eligible candidates for the various posts of Stenographer, Jawan, Chaprasi, and many other posts. The department is going to fill a total of 512 vacant seats in this recruitment drive.

For this recruitment drive the department released a notification in the month of May. Later they started inviting candidates to apply online for these posts on 30 May 2023 and this online registration process will be continued till 13 June 2023. The Maharashtra State Excise Department Hall Ticket will be made available to the candidates 10 days before the exam date.

In addition to Maha Excise Hall Ticket the aspirants are advised to carry a Government Id and at least 2 passport-size photographs to the examination centre. No entry shall be permissible in the absence of any of these documents.

Moreover, any kind of Electronic and Bluetooth devices are prohibited inside the examination centre, candidates have to arrange at their level to keep them outside the examination hall. The department will not be responsible in case of misplacement of any belongings of the Candidates.

Maha Excise Exam Pattern For Stenographer, Jawan, Driver

  • There will be a total of 120 questions in the examination.
  • Each question will be of 1 mark.
  • There will be a negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer and no negative marking for any unattempted question.
  • The question paper will be further divided into 4 sections, each section contains 30 questions.
  • The time given will be 1 hour and 30 minutes to complete the exam.

  • The time given will be 1 hour to complete the exam.
