The government of Maharashtra, Revenue and Forest Department released a public notice earlier to recruit eligible candidates for the post of Talathi in the 6 divisions of the State. Under this recruitment drive the department will fill 4625 vacant posts. The online application process just ended on 17 July 2023.
Now the department is going to call the candidates for the written test soon. Only those candidates who filled out the application form within the given time and passed the necessary required standards will be called for the selection test. Soon before the test, the RFD will issue the Maha Talahi Hall Ticket on its official page.

Every candidate who is going to appear for the examination needs to take a printed copy of a admit card and a government id along with them some passport-size photographs to the examination centre.
All the information like the examination venue and schedule will be printed on the call letter, no entry shall be allowed in the absence of it. Also, check the personal details mentioned on it. In case of an error found in personal information printed on it. Consult the authorities regarding such errors. Hall tickets for the Maha Talathi Recruitment drive will be issued one week before the commencement of the exam, on the official page only.
Applicants must take care that Electronic and Bluetooth devices are prohibited inside the examination hall. In case of loss of a candidate’s belongings, the department will not be responsible for such mishappening.
Maha Talathi Exam Pattern
- All the questions in the exam will be objective-type questions.
- The exam will be conducted for a total of 200 marks.
- Each question will be of 2 marks.
- The duration of the exam will be 2 hours(120 minutes).

How to download the Maha Talathi Hall Ticket?
Candidates who want to download their hall ticket and are unaware of how to download it, need to follow the simple steps given below:
- Go to the official page mahabhumi.gov.in
- From the Important Link box, look for the advertisement and click on it.
- Then look for the Hall ticket tab and press on it.
- Fill in the required details asked and click on the login tab.
- The hall ticket will be downloaded in a pdf file.
- Take a print of it and save it for further assistance.
