Maharashtra Rural Development and Panchayat Raj Department issued a notification for Zila Parishad Recruitment 2023 on 03 August 2023 at its official website rdd.maharashtra.gov.in Inviting candidates to register online for the Various Posts in different departments across the state. Through this, the department is going to fill a total of 18391 vacancies.

The department has released officially the notification for the Zilla Parishads in Nashik, Nanded, Sangali, Hingoli, Jalgaon, Ratnagiri, Nandurbar, Washim, Ahmednagar, Amravati, and Sindhudurg and for the remaining other Zilla Parishads vacancies notification will be released soon.

Zila Parishad Recruitment Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must check the eligibility details for all of the above-stated posts before applying online.

Post	Education Qualification
Health Supervisor	Applicants should possess a science degree from a recognized university. Also, candidates must have completed the 12 months course for Multipurpose Health Workers.
Arogya Sevak (Male)	Candidates who have passed the secondary school examination with science subject. Applicants who have completed the 12-month Basic Course for Multipurpose Health Workers and do not have such training will be required to complete such training after appointment.
Arogya Sevak (Male)	Preference will be given to the candidates who have passed the Secondary School Examination in Science subject with 90 days of experience as Seasonal Field Workers under the National Malaria Resistance Programme.
Arogya Sevak (Female)	Qualified Assistant Midwives and registered with Maharashtra Nursing Council or Vidarbha Nursing Council or eligible for these posts.
Drug Manufacturing Officer	Candidates must have a Degree or Diploma in Pharmaceutical Science and be registered Pharmacists.
Contract Gram Sevak	Minimum of High School Certificate or equivalent qualifying examination passed with minimum 60% marks or Diploma in Engineering (Three years course) from a Government recognized institution or Degree in Social Welfare (BSW) from a Government recognized institution or Secondary School Certificate examination or equivalent qualification and Diploma in Agriculture two year course OR Candidates holding degree or higher qualification in Agriculture or having social service experience and rural experience. It will be necessary to possess a certificate of passing the examination prescribed by the Directorate of Information Technology from time to time regarding computer literacy.
Junior Engineer (G.P.P.)	Degree or diploma (three years course) in Civil Engineering or equivalent qualification
Junior Engineer (Mechanical)	Degree or diploma (three years course) in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualification
Junior Engineer (Electrical)	Degree or diploma (three years course) in Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification
Junior Engineer (Civil)	Degree or diploma (three years course) in Civil Engineering or equivalent qualification
Junior Engineer (Civil) (LP)	Degree or diploma (three years course) in Civil Engineering or equivalent qualification
Junior Draftsman	Secondary School Certificate or equivalent qualification and course in Architectural Drafting
Junior Accounts Officer	The appointment will be made through nomination from among the candidates who hold a degree from a recognized university and have at least 5 years of continuous service experience in any government office, business partner organization or local authority. The appointment will be made through nomination from among the candidates who hold a degree from a recognized university and have at least 5 years of continuous service experience in any government office, business partner organization or local authority. In this regard, those who have experience in accounting work in any government office or commercial organization or local authority will be given more preference. Passed the Secondary School Certificate Examination or equivalent examination and passed by the Ad Hoc Board for Examination of Marathi Typing and Shorthand by Government Employees of Government of Maharashtra or Commissioner, Government Examination Department, Directorate of Education, State of Maharashtra in Marathi and English Typing at 30 words per minute respectively.
Junior Assistant (Clerical)	Candidates holding a Certificate in Speed or having passed Secondary School Certificate Examination or equivalent examination with 50% marks in Typing Provided that candidates appointed on the basis of a Certificate of Proficiency in any of the said two languages shall obtain a certificate of typing speed of not less than 30 words per minute in the other language within a period of two years from the date of appointment.
Junior Assistant Accounts	Secondary School Certificate Examination or equivalent examination and also the Ad Hoc Board or Commissioner for conducting the examination in Marathi Typing and Shorthand for Government Employees of Government of Maharashtra, Must be holding a Certificate in Marathi Typing at a speed of 30 words per minute issued by Government Examinations Department, Directorate of Education, Maharashtra State or must have passed Secondary School Certificate Examination or equivalent examination with 50% marks in Typing.
Supervisor (Female)	Candidates who hold a Bachelor’s Degree from a Statutory University, preferably in Sociology or Home Science or Education or Child Development or Nutrition or Sociology.
Livestock Supervisors	Degree in veterinary science of a statutory university, or a further diploma or certificate issued by the Directorate of Animal Husbandry as Livestock Supervisor, Animal Husbandry, Livestock Assistant, Assistant Livestock Development Officer or Livestock Development Officer or its equivalent
Laboratory Technicians	Degree in Science subject with Biology or Botany or Zoology or Microbiology as their main subject. (But candidates holding a degree in Medical Laboratory Technology from Hafkin Institute will be preferred.)
Rithaman (Dorkhandwala)	10th pass and having a heavy goods vehicle or heavy passenger vehicle, heavy vehicle operator’s license and it should not be issued less than one year
Short Story Writer	Secondary School Certificate Examination or it’s equivalent and have a speed of 80 words per minute in English or Marathi shorthand and not less than 40 words per minute in English typewriting or Marathi typewriting
Stenographer (Higher Grade)	Candidates who have passed the Certificate Examination of Maharashtra Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Speed not less than 120 bpm in Marathi Shorthand (Government Decision of Rural Development Department dated 6th January 1997) and 40 bpm in English Typing or 30 bpm in Marathi Typing
Senior Assistant (Clerk)	Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university
Senior Assistant Accounts	Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce with Special Subject in Accountancy and Accountancy Examination from a recognized University or First Class or Second Class Degree and not less than three years experience in any Government Office or Trade Organization or Local Authority.
Extension Officer (Agriculture)	A degree in Agriculture or any other qualification from a recognized University will be appointed through nomination.
Extension Officer (Panchayat)	A degree from a university established by law and candidates with three years of experience in rural social welfare and local development programs will be preferred
Extension Officer (Education)	B.A./B.Com./B.Sc Degree from any recognized University with at least 50% marks and those who have passed B.Ed or equivalent degree from any recognized University with at least 50% marks
Extension Officer (Statistics)	First or Second Class Degree in Science, Agriculture, Commerce or Literature from a Statutory University with Economics, Mathematics or Statistics or having experience in sample surveying, or having both degree and experience. Preference will be given to candidates holding Post Graduate Degree in one of these subjects
Civil Engineering Assistant	Secondary School Certificate Examination or equivalent examination, and passed the one-year course of Civil Engineering.
Civil Engineering Assistant (L.P.)	10th pass or its equivalent examination and also passed one year course in Civil Engineering

The age of the applicants will be calculated as of 01 January 2023 and it should be less than 38 years for candidates from the General Category. Whereas for candidates from Reserved Categories, the age should be less than 42 years.
