Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission (MPPSC) released earlier a notification to conduct the written test for the State Eligibility Test (SET)-2023 on the behalf of State Education Department. The exam was conducted at various examination centres across the state on 27 August 2023 in multiple shifts.
Within a few days, the MPPSC is going to release the MP SET-2023 Answer Key and it will be issued on the official website of the commission at mppsc.mp.gov.in. SET is a state-level exam required for all candidates to pass for the post of Assistant Professor in the various colleges and government institutions of Madhya Pradesh.
Thousands of candidates appeared for the exam and some will be shortlisted. Shortlisted candidates will be issued a lifetime validity certificate so that they can apply further for vacant seats. Passing this exam doesn’t guarantee placement. The candidates who qualify for this test will be considered eligible to apply further for the vacant seats.

The Commission started accepting online applications from eligible candidates on 24 January 2023 and the last date to apply online was 26 February 2023. Both male and female candidates were invited to register online for the SET-2023.
The Exam was conducted on 27 August 2023 and in the upcoming days, the commission will make available the exam solution key to the participants who appeared for the examination.
The exam was conducted offline and the commission conducted 2 Papers under the SET-2023. Paper 1 carried 50 questions and each question was for 2 marks, Paper 2 carried 100 questions and every correct answer will be given 2 marks. There was no negative marking for a wrong answer. Applicants were given 03 hours to complete the exam, 60 minutes for Paper 1 and 120 minutes for Paper 2.
MPPSC SET Answer Key Objection Submission
The commission will release the MP SET Provisional Answer Key (tentative), firstly on its official website. Applicants need to match each answer given in this file. For any wrong answer in this key issued the commission will make available the Objection Submission link to the candidates and this will be valid for a period of 3 days only. Candidates need to upload a written document stating thier agreement and also need to pay the fee for each objection made.
Then in the next phase, the commission will issue the Final SET Answer Key and this will be the final decision of the commission. No objection will be entertained against this solution key. Marks to the candidates will be allotted in accordance with this key, in addition to this candidates can also calculate the rough estimated marks they will deserve in the exam.
