Selection Method

Candidates must be aware of the selection method for Civil Services Jobs. The selection of the candidates will be decided after following steps.

  • Preliminary Test
  • Main Test
  • Interview

The date of the preliminary Test is already announced by the MPSC. The candidates who qualify for the preliminary test will participate in the main exam.

Paper Pattern for Prelims Exam

  • Both papers comprise 200 marks each.
  • The time duration of each paper will be 2 hours.
  • There will be a negative marking of 1/4th mark for every incorrect answer.
  • All the questions will be set in Marathi and English.
  • The marks of Prelims will be counted only for shortlisting the aspirants for the MPSC Mains exam.
