The Consortium of National Law Universities (CNLUs) issued a notification conducting the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT 2024). Eligible candidates are invited to register online to apply for the test. Shortlisted candidates will be thus given admission to the Best Institutes for Law courses (LLB/LLM).
The online registration for CLAT started on 01 July 2023. Candidates from all over the country are invited to register online till 03 November 2023. Every year CLNU conducts this Common Law Admission Test to provide admission to deserving candidates into Law courses. This test is a national-level entrance exam for admissions to Undergraduate (UG) and Postgraduate (PG) law courses offered by 22 National Law Universities and over 70 affiliated colleges in India.
The selection of the candidates for the course offered will be purely on a merit basis. Shortlisted candidates will be provided admission to 5 Year integrated LLB and LLM programmes that commence in the Academic Year 2024-25.

CLAT Admission Eligibility Criteria
Aspirants willing to register online for the CLAT Exam need to check the details shared below:
- For UG Course- Candidates must have passed Class 12 with at least 45% marks (40% in the case of SC and ST candidates) from a recognized board or institute.
- For PG Course- Candidates must have passed LLB (3-year LLB or 5-year LLB) from a recognized university with at least 50% marks (45% in the case of SC and ST candidates).
There is no age bar for applying online for any of these courses.
Candidates need to pay the fee given below for online registration and it will be paid online only.

Aspirants willing to register online for the CLAT Exam need to follow the simple steps illustrated below:

- Click on CLAT 2024 from the top of the page.
- Then click on the Register tab and fill in the required details asked.
- Recheck the details entered and pay online the necessary application fee.
- Thus, online registration completes.
- Take a print of it and save it for further assistance.
