State Council for Educational Research & Training, Odisha made an announcement on the official website on 5 April 2023 for admission to Diploma in Elementary Education for 5750 seats in the various institutes and colleges. The process of inviting online application forms started on 5 April 2023 and same ended on 30 April 2023.
The council has released the official entrance exam schedule. The entrance exam will be conducted on 30 May 2023. Odisha D.El.Ed Admit Card has been uploaded on the official website as well.
Shortlisted candidates will be given admission in any of 30 DIETs, 04 BIETs, 31 Government Elementary Teacher Education Institutions (ETEIs), 02 Government Elementary Teacher Education Institutions (SC & ST Development), and 01 Non-Government Aided Secondary Training School run under the guidelines of the Government of Odisha.

Important instructions regarding the Odisha D.EL.Ed 2023 Exam
- Candidates need to take a printed copy of a SCERT Odisha Admit Card along with it and need to carry any Government Id whether Aadhar Card, Driving Licence or any other document for verification at the Exam Centers.
- Must report to the examination centres half an hour before the exam.
- Check your pockets no entrance will be provided if found any kind of paper except the call letter.
- Candidates can not leave the exam hall before the end time of the exam.
- Carry 2-3 photos also to the exam centre

Odisha D.EL.Ed Entrance Exam Pattern
The exam will be conducted in 2 sections both sections of the exam will be different, and the time to complete the exam will remain the same 45 minutes for each section. The Paper Pattern is illustrated below.
