Odisha Public Service Commission released a notification for 391 posts under the Group A Category in Civil and Mechanical Assistant Executive Engineer Posts under Water Resource Department. The process of online application was started on 29 March 2023. The organization aims to fill up a total of 391 vacancies within this year in various departments in the state of Odisha.
The last date for online application submission was 28 April 2023. As the registration period is over, the department will host an examination to select eligible candidates for the further stages of the selection process. OPSC Assistant Executive Engineer 2023 Exam will be organized through GATE Scores secured by candidates. This Exam provides a great opportunity for young/fresher engineers to start their careers in the public sector under OPSC. This Exam is considered to be one of the toughest exams to be conducted in India and requires an in-depth understanding of various engineering concepts and principles.
Selection Process of OPSC AEE Exam 2023
The AEE exam is divided into two categories i.e. written test and viva. The Candidate needs to score good marks prescribed by the state commission. Then after the written exam selected candidates will be called for an interview and document verification. Thereafter, a deserving candidate will be selected among the lack of candidates who applied for the desired posts.
Objective Type Questions will be asked. This will consist of two examinations – Prelims and Mains.
The next stage is viva-voce those deserving candidates selected in the written test. Will have to appear for the interview in which technical and practical questions will be asked from the candidate. The total mark for this stage is 75.
- The Prelims will carry a total of 100 questions for 100 marks.
- The exam time will be 2.5 hrs to complete the exam.
- There is a negative marking of 0.25 marks for every wrong answer.
- This exam will be Objective Type.
- General Studies will consist of 150 Questions for 300 marks.
- The exam time will be 2.5 hrs to complete the exam.
- The Civil Engineering paper will also be for 150 Questions for 300 marks. The candidate will get 2.5 hours to complete the paper
- There is a negative marking of 0.25 marks for every wrong answer.
