Odisha Staff Selection Commission released a recruitment notification last year in November 2022 for filling up a total of 943 vacant seats of Group B and Group C Cadre in different departments of Odisha.
The Commission conducted the exam for these posts on 14 May 2023 at various exam centres at the scheduled time. Now the commission will soon release the OSSC CGL Exam Answer Key. This solution will only be released on the official portal ossc.gov.in in a PDF form. Candidates need to visit the official page to grab the same.

The Odisha Staff Selection Commission invited candidates to register online on 11 November and the online application forms were accepted till 10 December 2022. The commission has conducted the preliminary written exam successfully on the scheduled date and time.
Before the exam result announcement, the Odisha CGL Answer key will be released which will conclude the correct answers and on this basis, the marks will be given to each question. Usually, the commission takes around 10-15 months to release this key and it is expected that the commission will release this in the first half of June.
CGL Answer Key Objection and Submission
Firstly, the commission will release the provisional CGL exam answer key, all before the final one. This key may carry some incorrect answers in it. Candidates are advised to download this and check each answer carefully. If any candidate found any answer has to be different and has solid proof for the same, can complain to the officials regarding the same.
For raising a complaint inform the official at helpline no. 0674-2394466 or email at: support.ossc@gov.in between 10 AM to 5.30 PM on working days. The commission will collect all these objections up to a specific time and later on the Final OSSC CGL Answer Key 2023 will be released.
The commission will charge some fee for each objection made and this fee will be refunded if the objection made is found suitable. Qualifying for this test is not enough candidates have to further appear for:
- Mains Exam.
- Interview.
- Document Verification.
When called by the authorities, within the given time. If any candidate fails to report to any of the steps his/her application will be disqualified.
CGL Exam Analysis
This CGL Exam was conducted in a multiple choice objective type format and a total of 100 questions were asked. Each question was of 1 mark and there was also a negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer. The time given was 90 minutes to complete the exam. And the main subjects from which questions were asked are mathematics and reasoning.
