Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education & Research (PGIMER), Chandigarh issued a recruitment advertisement earlier to hire candidates for 206 vacant posts in Groups A, B, and C. For this, a notification was released on 09 July 2023 on the official web portal at pgimer.edu.in
On 01 September 2023 at the official web portal, the department issued a notification regarding the PGIMER Group A, B & C Posts Exam Date and the CBT exam will be conducted from 18 to 21 September 2023 at 16 main cities across the country.
The Department will also release the PGIMER Admit Card or PGI Chandigarh Admit Card on the same official web portal 1 week before the exam date. Candidates going to appear for the exam need to download this and have to take a printed copy with them to the examination centre allotted to them. The exam venue, date and reporting time will be mentioned on the admit card, check all details thoroughly.

The online registration process for these advertised posts was started on 13 June 2023. The PGIMER accepted all the application forms till 13 July 2023. Now from 18 to 21 September 2023, the CBT Exam will be conducted and the Admit card will be made available to the participating candidates some days before the exam date.
These admit cards will be made available only on the official website candidates need to download them from there. No candidates will be sent an admit card by post.
- The exam will be conducted online as a Computer Based Test.
- There will be a total of 85 questions in the exam for Group A posts and 100 questions for rest of the other categories.
- All the questions will be in MCQ format.
- Each question will be of 01 mark.
- There will be a negative marking of 0.25 mark for each incorrect answer.

How to download the PGIMER Group A, B and C Admit Card?
To download the admit card participants need to go through the simple steps shared below and must follow them serial-wise:
- Visit the official website at pgimer.edu.in
- Scroll down to the “Information for Candidates” Section.
- Look for the Admit Card Link and click on it.
- Then click on the Download tab and fill in the required details.
- Press on the login tab.
- Thus, the admit card will appear, click on red coloured download icon.
- Now, take a print of it for further reference.
