Govind Guru Tribal University, Banswara, Rajasthan conducted the Pre-Teacher Education Test (PTET) exam on 21 May 2023 in various districts of the state. This test is conducted annually to provide admission in B.Ed (2 years) and B.A.B.ED/B.SC.B.ED (4 years).

The University started inviting interested candidates to register online for Rajasthan PTET Exam on 15 March and this process continued till 05 April 2023. After the registration part, the department conducted the examination in the month of May 2023 and now soon the answer key will be made available on the official portal. Usually, the university takes 5-7 days to release the answer key and it is expected that the officials will release this within the first week of June.
Exam Analysis
The Rajasthan PTET Exam was conducted online under the guidelines of GGTU. This exam was further split into four sub-sections. The paper consists of a total of 200 questions for a total of 600 marks. Each question was of 3 marks and there was no negative marking in the exam. All these questions asked were in multiple choice question format that carries 4 alternative options with each. The exam was bilingual i.e. in English & Hindi language.
