Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB), Government of India has released a notification to recruit eligible candidates for 543 Vacant Seats of Constable (Tradesman).
The SSB started the online registration process to fill all these vacant seats on 20 May 2023 and accept all the application forms till 18 June 2023.

Aspirants who desire to serve the country or are willing to get any government job can now fulfill their desire as all these posts are to be filled within this year. After the declaration of registration dates and soon after the end of the application process, the candidates will be called for the selection test.
SSB Constable Recruitment Eligibility Criteria
Aspirants must check the eligibility details discussed below before applying online:
- For the post of Constable (Driver) Male: Matriculation or Equivalent from a recognized Board and the candidate must possess a Valid Heavy Vehicle Driving License.
- For the post of Constable (Veterinary): 10th Examination pass with Science as the main subject from a recognized Board and one year experience in the treatment of different species of animals in a recognized veterinary hospital.
- For the post of Constable (Washerman, Barber, Safaiwala, Tailor, Gardner, Cobbler, Cook & Water Carrier): Matriculation or Equivalent from a recognized Board with 2 years of work experience in respective Trades or 1-year Certificate Course from a recognized ITI or Vocational Institute with at least One Year Experience in the respective Trade or 2 years Diploma from a recognized ITI in the respective Trade.
Candidate must be of age between 21–27 Years for the post of Constable (Driver), for the post of Constable (Veterinary/Carpenter/Blacksmith/Painter) must be between 18–25 Years, and for the post of Constable (Washerman, Barber, Safaiwala, Tailor, Gardner, Cobbler, Cook & Water Carrier) should be between 18-23 Years as on the publishing date of recruitment.
The application fee for UR/ EWS/ OBC Candidates is ₹100/- and for SC/ ST/ Ex-Serviceman/ Female Candidates is nil.
