The cut-off score is the minimum score that is fixed by the commission to shortlist the candidates for the next level of recruitment. To reach the zone of consideration for the next level of recruitment, the candidates must score the SSC CGL cut-off marks and above.
Based on the factors such as the number of vacancies, number of participants and maximum marks obtained by the candidate, the commission determines the cut-off score. The candidates who score maximum marks among others will be placed in the merit list as shortlisted candidates and they will continue in the recruitment process.
The candidates can also check the answer key issued by the commission to compare their answers and access their possibility of clearing the exam. If the answers are not correct according to them, the candidates can challenge the same by raising objections.
