Staff Selection Commission announced a notification earlier for a total of 4500 vacancies for the post of Lower Divisional Clerk/ Junior Secretariat Assistant, and Data Entry Operators for various Ministries/ Departments/ Offices of the Government of India and various Constitutional Bodies/ Statutory Bodies/ Tribunals.

The process of inviting online applications was started on 6 December 2022 and the same ended on 04 January 2023. The exam was conducted between 09 March to 21 March 2023. SSC Answer Key for CHSL – Objections Submission

Firstly, a Provisional Answer Key is released by the state commission. In case, a candidate may have any objection/suggestion regarding any answer. They can raise an appeal to the commission by for every objection, a fee of 100 Rupees is to be paid online, which will be refunded if the objection raised is correct.

Candidates are required to attach written proof of correct answer along with the objection form. The examination board will verify the received objection forms. Within a certain period of time, the organization will release a final answer key. This will be available on the official portal. On basis of this final answer key, the Staff Selection Commission will declare the final CHSL Results.

CHSL Exam  Overview

The exam of SSC CHSL was conducted in two tiers:

  • The tier-1 consisted of 100 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) carrying a total of 200 marks. The exam was conducted online. The paper was completed by the candidates within 1 hour and there is a negative marking of 0.50 marks for each incorrect answer.
  • Tier 2 consists of an offline, 100-mark test conducted in Pen and Paper mode. Candidates who qualified for Tier I will only be allowed to sit in tier-2.
