The Staff Selection Commission well known as SSC will soon conduct the written test for Constable (GD) in Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs), SSF, Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles, and Sepoy in Narcotics Control Bureau. Candidates who will manage to get the qualifying marks in the written exam will qualify for the physical test.

It is expected that the written exam may take place in January 2023. The officials have not made any update regarding the same.

To get selected for the said posts, aspirants are required to prepare well for various levels of the selection process viz Written Test, Physical Efficiency Test, and Physical Measurement Test. Selection Process

The recruitment authority divided the selection process into multiple phases such as the written exam, and PET/PST. In the first stage, candidates will be called for the written examination. The officials will call almost 5 times aspirants for the Physical Efficiency Test. The final result will be prepared on the basis of marks obtained in the written test and PET/PST combined.
