Staff Selection Commission is going to conduct an Open Competitive Examination to recruit candidates for the post of Sub-Inspectors in Delhi Police and Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs). Through this recruitment drive the SSC will recruit candidates for 1876 vacant seats. The exam dates are not yet notified by the commission. Now, scrutiny of application forms is ongoing and soon the SSC will release the Exam Notification on its official webpage at ssc.nic.in.
Thousands of applicants filled out the online application form and are soon going to appear for the examination, the exam will be conducted nationwide in more than 100 examination centres collectively. Before the exam, the Commission will also release the SSC CPO Admit Card.
Candidates going to appear for the exam need to download their admit card and have to take a printed copy along with some of their passports size photos and government id. No entry will be provided to any aspirant in the absence of any of these documents.

SSC released the Sub-Inspector notification in July 2023. The online application process was started on 22 July 2023. All those interested applicants filled out their online application form till 15 August 2023. Soon the exam dates will be announced.
Admit cards for this recruitment exam will be issued to the participating candidates 10 days prior to the exam. All the important details like exam venue, reporting time and some basic instructions will be printed on this admit card.
SSC CPO Selection Process
The SSC will recruit the candidates on the basis of marks scored by them in the following phases:
- Tier-I CBT Written Exam
- Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
- Tier-II CBT Written Exam
- Document Verification
- Medical Examination
First, the Tier-1 Exam will be conducted and then the shortlisted candidates will be called for the PET and then for the Tier-2 test. The final selection will be done in accordance with the total marks scored in each selection test.
Delhi Police Sub-Inspector Exam Pattern
- In this test, 200 questions will be asked and each will be of 1 mark.
- All these questions will be in MCQ format.
- Time duration of this test will be 2 hours.
- There will be a negative marking of 0.33 marks in this test.
- Questions will be set in Hindi and English Language.

- 100-metre race in 18 seconds

Aspirants going to appear for this recruitment exam have to follow the steps given below:
- Go to the official web portal ssc.nic.in
- Click on the Admit Card tab from the main menu bar.
- Now look for the recruitment from the list and then click on the Admit Card download tab.
- Fill in the necessary details asked and click on the login tab.
- Finally, the call letter is ready.
- Take a print of the hall ticket for the examination hall and further reference.
