Staff Selection Commission is conducting a recruitment examination for the post of Multi Tasking Staff (MTS) Non-Technical and Havaldar. The selected candidates will be posted in the Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC) and the Central Bureau of Narcotics (CBN). The commission has notified 11,409 vacancies for these posts.

As per the tentative exam calendar, SSC has scheduled the MTS Exam to be conducted in April 2023. An exact schedule shall be available soon at ssc.nic.in only. The candidates will be issued their SSC MTS Admit Card prior to the date of the examination. The candidates will be able to download their SSC MTS Hall Ticket from the official website.

The examination will be conducted in the month of April 2023. The candidates will be given a link to download the SSC MTS Havildar 2023 Admit Card from the official website by following the step-by-step instructions provided at the end of this article.

The post of Multi Tasking Staff is a General Central Service Group ‘C’ Non-Gazetted, Non-Ministerial post to be posted in various Ministries, Departments, or Offices of the Government of India and various Constitutional Bodies, Tribunals, Statutory Bodies etc established in various states and Union Territories.  The competitive exam will be conducted in Hindi, English and in 13 regional languages mentioned in Annexure -XV of the official notification.

Before releasing the MTS Admit Card, the Staff Selection Commission will provide the application status on the regional websites. Aspirants will be able to check online if their registration form has been accepted or not. A reason shall also be mentioned by the commission if your candidature is cancelled.

Further, the commission will issue MTS 2023 Admit Card only for those candidates who’re marked eligible. They will be able to grab this essential document online using the regional SSC portal as per their state. As you already know, entry to the exam hall is prohibited without a valid SSC Hall Ticket.

SSC MTS Exam Pattern & Scheme

  • The Computer Based examination will be conducted by the authority.
  • The language of the exam will be Hindi, English and other 13 regional languages such as Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Konkani, Malayalam, Manipuri, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu and Urdu.
  • The exam will conduct in Two sessions i.e Session 1 and Session 2. If the candidate does not attempt any session will disqualify from the exam.
  • No rechecking process is available for the SSC exam.
  • The online exam will contain Multiple choice questions.
  • There will be no negative marking for Session 1 and for session 2 one mark will be deducted for each wrong question.

Document Verification

The candidates who pass all the events such as the written test and physical test will be invited for the final step of the recruitment which is document verification. Through this phase, the candidate’s original documents & certificates will be scrutinized by the recruitment agency.

  1. Candidates first open the official website ssc.nic.in
  2. On the homepage, click on the “Admit Card” tab.
  3. Then click on the specific region where you belong.
  4. Open a new webpage, and click on the SSC MTS link.
  5. Enter your registration id and password or also log in with the candidate’s name and DOB.
  6. Then Download the admit card & take print this document for the examination day.
