Tamil Nadu Uniformed Service Recruitment Board successfully conducted the written examination for the post of Police Sub Inspector on 26 and 27 August 2023. The examination was conducted in multiple shifts and various exam centres across the state.
As per the reports, thousands of candidates have participated in the examination. In the upcoming days, the department is going to issue the TNUSRB SI Answer Key and that will be released on the official website of the department. Candidates who appeared for the exam will come to know the correct answers to the questions of the exam.

For the appointment of eligible candidates for the SI Post TNSURB released a notification on 05 May 2023. The online registration process started on 01 June 2023. Applications are invited from eligible Male, Female and Transgender candidates and it was filled till 30 June 2023.
The exam was conducted on 26 & 27 August 2023 and the Answer Key will be released by the board and then the Results will be declared online on the basis of this key.

The exam was conducted in an offline mode on OMR Answer Sheets and there were a total of 100 questions in the exam. All of them were in Multiple Type Objective Question format each with 4 alternative answers. The questions asked in the exam were of 01 mark each and 0.25 mark was deducted for each wrong answer. Candidates were given 01 hour and 40 minutes to complete the exam.
TN SI Answer Key Objection & Submission
The board will first make available the Provisional Answer Key to the participants on the official website. This answer is tentative in nature, it may or may not have some doubtful answers in it. Participants need to download this file and then check all the questions carefully.
If any participant finds that there is any mistake or any answer is wrong, can file the objection form. The objection submission link will be available on the same website. The board will charge some fee for filling out the objection form and this fee will be charged for each objection made by the candidates. No doubt the fee will be refunded if the objection made is found suitable.
Later on, after this objection submission and the rectification process ends the Final TN SI Answer Key will be released. On the basis of this candidates can assume the estimated marks they will score in the exam and marks to the applicants in the exam will be allotted on the basis of this key.
