Department of School Education, Government of Telangana conducted the written exam to hire eligible candidates for the post of Teaching Staff in Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalayas (KGBVs) and Urban Residential Schools (URSs) on a temporary contract basis.
Through this recruitment drive a total of 1241 vacant seats of various posts will be filled and are of Special Officers (SOs), Post Graduate Contract Resident Teachers (PGCRTs), Contract Resident Teachers (CRTs), Physical Education Teachers (PETs) in Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalayas (KGBVs) and Special Officers (SOs) & Contract Resident Teachers (CRTs) in Urban Residential Schools (URSs).
Out of all these total seats, 1218 seats are in Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalayas (KGBVs) and are only for Female Candidates. While the remaining 23 are in Urban Residential Schools (URSs), for both male and female candidates.
The Written exam for all of these posts was conducted from 24 July to 26 July 2023 at various examination centres across the state. Now, the DSE Officials are going to declare the TS KGBV Results on its official website.

The TS KGBV Recruitment Online registration process was started on 26 June 2023. Interested and eligible candidates were invited to register online for these above-stated posts till 05 July 2023. Exam for the Teaching Staff Various posts was conducted well on the planned date.
Now the Department officials are going to declare the results soon. It will only be released on the official webpage. Candidates who need to check their exam scores need to visit the official site schooledu.telangana.gov.in Candidates who qualify for this test will be further called for an Interview and the final selection will be done on the basis of marks scored by candidates in written test and interview.
Telangana KGBV Cut-Off Scores
The Department Officials will also release the KGBV Cut-Off Marks List on its official page. Cut-off scores are the minimum required qualifying marks. Candidates who participated in this recruitment drive need to score more than and equal to these desired marks.
