Check the Selection process, Preliminary Exam Pattern & New Exam Date at www.tspsc.gov.in: The Telangana State Public Service Commission released a notification for Group 1 Services in April 2022. Now, the commission has decided to conduct the exam on 11 June 2023 for Group 1 vacancies. The admit card will publish on the official site about 10 days before the examination.
The candidates who applied for this recruitment are waiting for a long time for the exam after the postponement. Now, the commission will release the TSPSC Group 1 Hall Ticket for a total of 503 vacancies. The commission cancelled the exam which was conducted on 16 October 2022, due to a question paper leak. As per the new notice, the exam will be conducted again on 11 June 2023.

The TSPSC Group-1 Hall ticket will upload one week before the prelims exam date. In the meantime, applicants can go through the exam pattern and selection process for the TSPSC vacancy.
TSPSC Group 1 Exam Pattern
- The exam will be conducted in three languages i.e English, Telugu and Urdu.
- The duration of the exam will be 2 Hours 30 minutes.
- This exam will contain negative marking also, for each wrong answer 1/3rd marks will be deducted.
- The prelims exam will carry objective-type questions.
- This exam is qualifying in nature. Their marks will not be counted in the final merit list.

Selection Process for Group 1 Posts
The selection process will include three main stages for the final selection for Group 1. The stages have been discussed below:
- Preliminary Exam (Objective types test)
- Main Exam (Descriptive Test): The minimum qualifying marks for this exam will be different for various categories. For candidates who belong to EWS, OCs and Sportsmen should not be less than 40% marks, For the BC category not be less than 35% marks. For SCs, STs and PH categories not less than 30% marks.
- Document Verification & Medical Examination: Candidates will call later after qualifying for the pre and main exams for document verification. All original documents will check by the commission. The medical examination will also be conducted for the final selection of the candidates.
- Final Merit list: The final merit list will be prepared after the completion of all stages of the selection. The list will contain the selected applicant’s name and roll number.
