Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Staff Selection Commission has introduced the Preliminary Eligibility Test and it has conducted PET for the second time. This is a welcome step as this exam takes the aspirants of Group B and C posts under the state government to the next level.
UPSSSC PET is a tool to shortlist the eligible candidates for Group B and C Main exams. A candidate qualified in PET directly reaches the second step of the selection process for the posts like of Lekhpal, Junior Assistant, and other posts under Group B & C. UPSSSC issued notified PET on 28th June 2022 and the commission conducted the prelims on the 15th and 16th of October 2022. The UP PET Result of the same is not yet out. Once the name of the candidate finds a place in the list of candidates qualified in the prelims, the candidates qualify to attend the main examination for the posts under Group B and C. The commission will release answer keys to the candidates who are open to challenges against incorrect answers. Successful candidates will continue in this recruitment process. The scores obtained in UPSSSC PET are valid for 1 year from the date of issuance of the certificate.
UPSSSC PET Cut-Off Marks 2022
Cutoff marks declared by the commission will be the minimum marks required to be taken by the candidate to clear the preliminary examination. The commission will issue the category-wise cut-off marks which will determine the list of candidates qualified to write the main examination.

To download the result, open the official website upsssc.gov.in and then follow the steps written below.
- On the home page, navigate to the “Preliminary Eligibility Test (PET) 2022 Announcement”
- Now select Click to view Preliminary Eligibility Test (PET) 2022 Result/Score Card”.
- On the newly opened page, click on the given link titled “Click here to View Preliminary Eligibility (PET) 2022 Result/Score Card”.
- Enter the login credentials and press submit.
- UPSSSC PET Result and Scorecard opens up.
- Verify the result and download.
