Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Service Selection Commission conducted the written exam for the selection of deserving candidates for the post of Village Development Officer, Gram Panchayat Adhikari and Samaj Kalyan Adhikari posts on 26 and 27 June 2023. There were a total of 1953 seats offered in this recruitment drive. Out of these 1527 seats for Gram Panchayat Adhikari, 362 seats for Gram Vikas Adhikari (VDO) and 64 seats for Samaj Kalyan Paryavekshak.

The UPSSC released a notification for these posts in May-June 2018. The exam was conducted on 22 and 23 December 2018. And the commission cancelled the exam and the result due to some unavoidable reasons. The exam was conducted again this year on the planned date. Now the results will be declared soon but before the results, the answer key will be released. On the basis of this, the marks will be given for each correct answer.
Usually, it takes 2-5 days to release the Answer Key. Sometimes the commission releases it on the same day as the day of the commencement of the exam. The exam was conducted online at various examination centres across the state. There were a total of 150 objective-type questions. Each question was of 2 marks and there was also a negative marking of 0.50 mark for each wrong answer. The paper was divided into 3 sections- Hindi, General Knowledge, and General Intelligence each section carried 50 questions.

The Commission will first release the tentative answer key on its official portal. Candidates need to download it and have to check each answer thoroughly. The commission will charge some prescribed fee for raising each objection. This fee will be refunded if the objection made is found suitable. Note doubt the commission will collect these objection forms up to a certain period and soon after this, the Final UPSSSC Answer Key will be made available.
