WB Police Eligibility Criteria
Candidate must be of the described eligibility criteria discussed below to apply for this post:
The candidate must be at least 18 (eighteen) years old and no more than 27 (twenty-seven) years old as of 01 January 2023. Age Relaxation will be provided to candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, and Other Backward Classes.
Candidates must have cleared the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education’s Madhyamik Examination. They must be able to speak, read and write the Bengali language and the provision will not be applicable to persons who are permanent residents of hill sub-divisions of Darjeeling and Kalimpong Districts. For the applicant of hill sub-divisions of Darjeeling and Kalimpong Districts, the provisions stated in the West Bengal Official Language Act, 1961 will be applicable.
Applicants belonging to the General Category from West Bengal are required to pay ₹170/- and SC/ST category candidates are required to pay ₹20/- as the application fee prescribed by State Recruitment Board.

WB Police Lady Constable Selection Process
The Board select the candidates according to the following steps:
- Preliminary Test
- Physical Measurement Examination (PMT)
