West Bengal Board of Primary Education released the WB TET 2022 Notification on the official website. The WB Primary TET Notification was published on 29 September 2022. As mentioned in the notification WB Online Registration commenced on 14 October & the officials will accept applications from eligible candidates till 3 November 2022.
Aspirants who want to become teachers for Class 1-5 can apply for the West Bengal Teachers Eligibility Test 2022. The officials also have mentioned the WB TET Exam Dates. As per the officials, the West Bengal TET is to be organized on 11 December 2022. The officials will call the applicants for the TET whose registration has been done successfully.
Every year the West Bengal Board of Primary Education organize the Teacher Eligibility Test in order to check the eligibility of the candidate for class 1-5 teacher post. Candidates who will manage to get the qualifying marks will be able to apply for the teacher post in government / aided / basic primary schools within the state.

- The applicant must have passed Higher Secondary/Senior Secondary (or its equivalent 10+2) from a recognized school education board with minimum 50% marks and a 2-year diploma in Elementary Education (DEIEd)
Or
- Higher Secondary/Senior Secondary (or its equivalent 10+2) with minimum 50% marks and 4 years of Bachelor of Elementary Education (BEIEd)
Or
- Higher Secondary/Senior Secondary (or its equivalent 10+2) from a recognized school education board with a minimum of 50% marks and must possess a Diploma in Education (Special Education), recognized by the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI)
Or
- Candidates have passed Graduation and a two-year Diploma in Elementary Education (DEIEd)
The maximum age limit is 40 years while the minimum age requirement is 18 years. Candidates who belong to the reserved categories will get benefits in the upper age limit.
