West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board, Kolkata conducted the OMR-based Common Entrance Examination (WBJEE CET) for the admission in Engineering & Technology, Pharmacy and Architecture of different Universities, Government Colleges and Self Financing Engineering & Technological Institutes in the State of West Bengal for the academic session 2023-24. The WBJEE CET exam was conducted successfully on 30 April 2023.
The online application for the WBJEE CET exam started last year in the month of December and all the online application forms are accepted till 20 Jan 2023 and the exam was conducted on the scheduled date under the guidelines of the Board.
Now all those participating students who appeared for the WBJEE exam are waiting for the WBJEE CET RESULTS 2023 and it is expected to be declared within the month of May 2023.

This test is conducted every year to grant admission into such programmes and the candidates who get declared qualified in the WBJEE CET entrance test will have to appear for further Counselling Sessions, Document Verification. At last, the final Admission List will be issued publically only on the webpage of WBJEE wbjeeb.nic.in and the selected students based on the list will be provided admission to their desired courses.

Candidates have to score up to the minimum rank determined by the board to get admission. There are also some factors which affect the cut-off score:
- A number of participants appeared for the exam.
- Reservation policy of the Colleges.
- Category of the Candidates belongs to.
- Last year’s cut-off list.
Ranking Methodology and Merit List
For candidates who appeared for the test and are seeking to get admission in Engineering and Agriculture courses a list prepared called General Merit Rank (GMR)
And for the candidates seeking to get admission in Pharmacy courses a list prepared for them is called the Pharmacy Merit List (PMR) and all those names in both of the lists stated above will be eligible for admission.
